“OHH YEAH – ROCK´N ROLL !!”

Bullicio Puppets was created by Fabian R. Salazar Albornoz and started in 2016 in the streets of downtown Santiago, Chile. The project began to gain notoriety in August of that year when the puppet JACK DISTORTION performed the famous song “The Art Of Shredding” by the American Heavy Metal band, PANTERA on the popular “Pareo Ahumada” boardwalk located in downtoan Santiago, Chile. But it was in 2017 when the HEAVY METAL puppet JACK DISTORTION, was noticed by great musicians of the Chilean rock scene. He was invited to share the stage with Priapo, Alto Voltaje, Tonto Pero Feo, Catoni, Sobernot, Chocloneta, Los Mox!, Calavera, Blackout and many others. One year later, in 2018, the artist began to show his work with the puppet also at big festivals in Chile Among some the “Cosquin Rock Chile” that took place in the famous Movistar Arena,as well as “Santiago Gets Louder”. But it was in 2019 when JACK DISTORTION decided to sail through international seas traveling to England.

There, he performed at the famous “Download Festival” in Donington Park and “Rock Fest Barcelona”, in Spain. With these appearances, JACK DISTORTION had its footage shared by Jimmy Page, from Led Zeppelin, King Diamond, Rick Allen, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, ZZ Top, among many others. JACK DISTORTION is a famous puppet and already has a fixes presence in the festvals “Santiago Gets Louder”, “Woodstacko” and “Armagerock”. This last one were the last performance on a major Chilean festival before the Covid-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, the artist decided to make the quarantine somthing productive, focusing on audiovisual material for social networks. In 2022 JACK DISTORTION cooperated with the culture project “COME TO LATIN AMERICA” powered by the Ministry of Culture and Education of Finland and conceived by Niina Fu in partnership with “BLOOAD BLAST” and “NUCLEAR BLAST SOUTH-AMERICA”. Also saddle a agreement as influencer with VANS . This year Fabian R. Salazar was oficially nominated POPULAR CULTOR by the Heritage Department oft he MINISTRY of CULTURES, ARTS and HERITAGE of CHILE.

“Bulling” and mistreatment of children and adolescents are social problems that are growing all over the world. “JACK DISTORTION” is the pioneering artist going to schooös in Chile to show the values and behavior in the Rock´n Roll / Heavy Metal world to children of all ages.
